7-11 Grand Opening at Vivocity!

i went to see Taufik today:)

Met Anati and headed to Vivocity via MRT.It was her first time there.We were kinda early even though I was explanably late.Haha.

I just stood outside 7-11 beside the Cineplex to wait for the event to start.Of course,Mr Taufik was fashionably late.Rui En was the first one to come and 7-11 looked pretty with balloons and ribbons.Suddenly Taufik came,and stood right beside me.

Soooo,the event then started with the cutting of ribbons,the lion dance and photocalls.Not a quiet event yes?Everyone had a good laugh when the "lions" spit pieces of lettuce onto Taufik and Rui En:)

It later led to Taufik walking around the 7-11 going Wow,Hey,Nice.Being the silly me,I thought he was already leaving so I entered the 7-11.Just as I was to catch up to him,Taufik turned and started walking towards us(me and Anati).Terperanjat kami tau.Some ang-moh guy stood infront of Taufik and told me "Why not have my autograph?".Sorry Uncle,not interested!

I wanted to leave 7-11 but there wasn't any way out unless i follow Taufik.So while walking,Taufik abruptly turned around to the shock faces of me and Anati and said thanks for coming and that he appreciated our presence:))))
His face glowed like those of pregnant women when Anati mentioned that we'll be going to his autograph session tmr:)))

Later,Taufik and Rui En were seated outside and they autographed what seemed like billions of caps.You just gotta spend 5 buckeroos and get that autographed cap.Apa lagi?I hurried Anati in 7-11 to buy stuff worth of $5!I had to stay outside and keep clicking on my cam mahhh.

Taufik asked the crowd what they were gonna wear for the bday bash.He didn't tell what he was going as,but said that he is "only missing a horse".Haha,I knew the answer:P

After awhile,the emcee said Taufik's birthday was coming or something and some 7-11 people came out with a heeyuge cake!!

An advance one that is:)

My piece!It was only missing a 'T',which Aunty Shanns got!The 'I' and 'K' were at the back.The cake was yummilicious!

Later there was an announcement that those who had the caps could take photos with Rui En and Taufik.So i queued up with Aunty Shanns,whom we met half-way.

Aunty Shanns,I am SOOOOO sorry for accidentally turning off the flash which made our pictures very dark.I am such a bad photographer!!!!

After taking our picture,I shook his hands and said thank you.I immediately turned back when he said something.Something which made me blur but thrilled.Haha.Go figure!

So after that,Taufik went to chit-chat with the ang-mohs,talked to his fans:)) and also walked here and there.When he left,Anati grabbed the chance to shake his hands.He then walked allllllllllllllll the way to the other side of Vicocity before taking off.The scene looked somewhat from an airport.Haha!Some shoppers were dumbfounded when Taufik whizzzed past them.:D

Yay!I managed to blog with only 13 out of 130++photos i got from just now.*throwsconfetti*

I need some rest,tomorrow is another important event and my last one before i head to UK!
